Salvia Amistad
A magnificent salvia which will be in bloom from very early summer through to late autumn.
This perennial sage has unusually large, deep purple blooms that are complemented by its dark, almost black calyces and stems. The aromatic bright green foliage completes the look of this spectacular variety that deserves pride of place at the back of the border or planted in a large terracotta pot for a statement display. The dramatic flowers are fabulous for cutting and bees love them!
Grow in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Drought tolerant.
