Transplant or direct seed. Sow indoors 4 weeks before last frost date, plant after threat of frost has passed. Or direct seed 1-2 weeks after last frost. Plants can reach heights of 6-10′, and can benefit from some staking or trellising. Try planting a Tithonia hedge and watching the birds and bees feast during late summer.
