Hydrangea macrophylla Runaway Bride Shrub Plants
Until now, most hydrangeas have just bloomed towards the ends of their stems. However, this rather special new development flowers much further up the stems. It has been referred to as a Gardland Flowering Hydrangea because of this prolific flowering habit and the resulting swags of flowers it creates with up to 20 flower heads along each stem. The displays continue into autumn as the leaves turn an attractive orange-red. Perfect for mixed borders, containers and even large hanging baskets, this remarkable hydrangea was deservedly recognized as a “Chelsea Winner” in 2018.
