Foxgloves are biennials, meaning the seeds are sown in late spring/early summer for flowers the following year.Â

Genus: Digitalis purpurea
Sow Seeds: Sow May–July thinly into a seed tray filled with moist compost or can be directly sown.  If sown into seed trays, prick out & pot on as they grow.
Plant Out: Transplant when large enough to handle into their final flowering position.  Space 30 cm apart.  They like full sun, partial shade & free draining soil.  Will flower the following spring/early summer
