Caveman’s Club Gourd
Caveman’s Club Gourd is an heirloom, open-pollinated gourd variety that resembles a primitive tool from the past. This variety produces gourds that have a long, slender handle with an enlarged, club end. These gourds average 10-18″ long and weigh 7-15 lbs each. Also known as dipper gourds, these are great for making large spoons for dipping. When grown on the ground, the handle will tend to be curved. For a straighter handle, we recommend trellising the plants. This is a late-maturing variety, so plant early for best results.
