Buena Mulata Chilli
The Buena Mulata chili is a beautiful and versatile heirloom variety of Capsicum annuum, prized for both its ornamental value. Â It’s considered an heirloom variety originating from Mexico.

- Plant Size: The plant is attractive, growing to a height of 2-5 feet (60 cm to 1.5 meters), depending on growing conditions.
- Pod Size: The chillies are long and slender, measuring about 6-7 inches (15-18 cm) in length. Their most striking feature is their dramatic colour change as they ripen: starting as a vibrant purple, they transition through shades of orange and brown before finally maturing to a deep red. This colour progression makes them highly ornamental on the plant.
All plants are grown on our farm in Norfolk, UK and are grown in an open pollinated area.
