Bishops Crown Chilli
The Bishop’s Crown Chilli, also known as the Friar’s Hat or Monk’s Hat Chilli, is a unique and visually striking variety from Barbados. It’s a tall plant, reaching heights of over 1.5 meters, with a tree-like growth habit rather than a bushy one.
The distinctive feature of this chilli is its three-sided pods that resemble a bishop’s crown, measuring 3-4 cm in diameter. They mature from light green to a vibrant orange and finally a rich red. The flavour is described as sweet and fruity with a mild to medium heat
