Anaheim Chilli
The Anaheim Chilli Pepper, renowned for its excellent stuffing qualities, originates from New Mexico and flourishes in Anaheim, California. It stands tall at one metre and produces large, mild pods with a robust skin that easily peels away after being charred and steamed. . When they mature and turn red, they are referred to as ‘Chile colorado‘ or ‘California Red Chile.’ Impressively, it can grow from a seed to a substantial 20 cm fruit in less than 80 days.
