7 Pot Yellow Chilli
The 7 Pot Yellow Chilli is a variety of chilli pepper from the Chaguanas area of Trinidad. It’s known for its exceptional heat, with a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) rating of around 1,400,000 – 1,700,000, placing it firmly in the “super hot” category

- Plant Size: 80cm – 120cm tall
- Pod Size: Approximately 5 cm in length, Pods start green and ripen to a bright yellow colour. They have a distinctive bumpy or “brain-like” texture
- Flavour: Despite the intense heat, the 7 Pot Yellow Chilli offers a complex flavour profile with fruity notes, often described as pineapple-like
- Growing Conditions: Prefers warm, sunny conditions and well-draining soil. It can be grown in containers or directly in the ground.
All plants are grown on our farm in Norfolk, UK and are grown in an open pollinated area.
